Like Qb's list your top 10 not based on fantasy....

  1. My top 10 are as follows:

    1. Adrian Peterson- although has issues carrying the football but his combination of speed and power is unmatched in this league. Will have a bounce back year in a big way this season.

    2. Chris Johnson- 2000 yds last season enough said. Led the league by a margin of 590 yds. Remarkable. Could be number 1 but despite numbers i still be peterson is better.

    3. Steven Jackson- Strong as a bull. Puts up great numbers with no talent around him.

    4. MJD- one of the toughest guys in the league. Runs extremely hard touchdown machine.

    5. Frank Gore- has durability issues but when healthy is among the best. Has tendency to score long touchdowns

    6. Ray Rice- is a dual-threat out of the backfield. The former Scarlet Knight running back has proved a lot of doubters wrong. Expect even better productivity this year.

    7. DeAngelo Williams- this guy better by the year although he splits carries is still dynamite and can go the distance on any carry.

    8. Michael Turner- has his own team now and produced a ton.

    9. Marion Barber- called the closer b/c he is workhorse in the 4th quarter. Strong, runs hard and you dont have to take him out on passing downs.

    10. Matt Forte- great rookie season but it a bit of sophomore slump last year but watch out this Tulane product isnt done yet.

PS- this was a lot harder then selecting 10 qb's

  3. 1. A. Peterson- He is the most ferocious rb in the game today and is always the threat to go all the way

    2. C. Johnson- simply amazing and even more impressive because of the team he's on

3.S. Jackson- strangly enough he's underrated as I feel his name is an after thought.

    4. MJD- I'm a believer

    5. F. Gore- Workhorse

    6. M. Turner- Like meal said doing big things on his own team.

    7. D. Williams-

    8. M. Barber- which is weird considering he'a about to lose his spot.

    9. R. Brown- The reason the wildcat is back!

    10. T. Jones- All is he does is produce

  4. Here's my list.

    1. Chris Johnson. 2000 yd season in his 2nd year in the NFL. But what is more impressive he also had 500 yards receiving. The game's best back.

    2. Adrian Peterson. No explanation needed. He's like a created player with his size and speed.

3.MJD. His career low for touchdowns is 9. He was the lone feature back last year and responded with 1400 yds and 15 tds. And he's a great reciever out of the backfield.

    4. Steven Jackson. Hs gone over 1000 yards each of the last 5 years including 1400 last year. Can anyone name 10 Rams during that span.

    5. Frank Gore. Has gone over 1000 yards the last 4 years. And he catches the ball very well. He also has a knack for the big play.

    6. Ray Rice. He just burst on the scene but he's here to stay. He ran for over 1300 yards and caught 70 balls. He's a beast.

    7. Michael Turner. The burner was well on pace for another monster year last year before injuries derailed him. He had 1700 yards 2 years ago and scored a touchdown 7 straight weeks last year. He's good.

    8. DeAngelo Williams. He ran for 1500 and scored 18 touchdowns. Last year? Ran for 1100 and 7 touchdowns in a time-share. He'd be higher on the list if it wasn't for J.Stewart.

    9. Ryan Grant. Aaron Rodgers gets the credit but he had a big part in there success last year. He's gone over 1200 yards the last 2 years with 11 touchdowns last year. He was huge in that stretch run in 2007 with Brett Favre stealing all the headlines but he was right there!

    10. Open. How can we put anybody here. Marion Barber are you kidding me?? Closer?? When Julious Jones was there maybe but not now, he hasn't even gone over 1000 yards in a season. Jamal Charles did that in a half of a season. I like Matt Forte here, Joseph Addai, Clinton Portis( I love). But I can't choose one over the others.
