  1. Im very pleased with the two match-ups we got here.
Would like to have seen tampa win but they hit the Yankees would have destroyed them. So as of right now i think the Rangers pose as a bigger threat to ruining the Phils Yankees series.

ALCS: I think the Yankees win this win in 6 games. But something tells me the Rangers are going to win! Why cant be the team of destiny is a feeling i have.. But conventional wisdom tells me they just arent ready to win a series of this magnitude. I think if the Rangers can force a game 7 some how with Cliff Lee pitching auditioning for the Yanks on the biggest stage against CC i like Lee's chances. I think this will be a nip and tuck series with the Rangers making a error late in a game that causes them to lose this series. Ian Kinsler had a huge ALCS watch out for the Natural to show up big to keep Texas in it. For some reason Josh Hamilton seems like a guy that isnt phased by anything. BTW this is the game that hit 28 hrs in one rd at Yankee stadium just last season. It sounds like i like texas in this series but this NYY wont happen this year. But the Yankees in 6 games is my prediction; but wouldnt shock me if texas won!

    ALCS MVP: Alex Rodriguez

NLCS : I love the Phillies in this series, im very intrigued by this series. The pitching matchups in this series are phenomenal. Being that pitching rotations are dynamic; this will come down to the offenses and the Giants simply just dont have enough to compete with the Phils. The GIants best hitter is a rookie and maybe he steps up the this is third go around for the Phils, and i dont see anything stopping them at this point. If this were 5 games id give the Giants more of a shot but this has Phils written all over it. Phillies in 6 games. But im gonna make a prediction in Gm 1; Lincecum outpitches halladay and the Giants win the first game 2-1.

    NLCS MVP; Ryan Howard

  2. I really like these 2 match-ups, to the naked eye it may look like the Phils and Yanks will breeze through this round for a World Series rematch. The Giants and Rangers are very good teams that a lot of people(Philly Fans) know nothing about. Lets look into each series...

    ALCS

The Yankees are the champs for a reason, there really good!! Think about it, they didn't have a 4th pitcher all year. Burnett and Vasquez stunk all year!! Pettite missed 2 months and Hughes disappeared after June. Mark Teixierra was hitting .200 into June, Derek Jeter had a down year, Granderson stunk all year!! A-Rod had a human year!! Cano and Swisher carried for the most part of the year, CC deserves MVP votes!! With all that they won 95 games!! There just good!

Texas has the best lineup in baseball. Period. Andrus, Young, Natural, Vlad, Cruz, Kinsler. That's better than what anybody else has in the league. That's a great mixture of speed and power. Add to that CLIFF LEE. Cliff Lee gets all the headlines but we have a really good staff behind him, CJ Wilson, Colby Lewis and Tommy Hunter all had good years. The pen is solid with the AL Rookie of the Year Neftali Feliz in the back of it. They're ready!!

    Rangers in 7.

    NLCS

Offense goes to the Phils, hands down. No need to go into that. The real discussion is about the pitchers, The Phils have the big 3 but the Giants have a bigger 4. Thats good for the Giants but the 4th pitcher won't start I don't think. No doubt about it that Halladay is coming back in game 4 and the Giants will bring "the freak" back. Sanchez will beat Oswalt, but Hamels will beat Cain. It's comes down to Halladay vs. Lincecum!!! What's better than that???

    Giants in 7.
