This blog has been created since I spend all of my life arguing sports with Willis Austin. Being the two knowledgeable sports fans that we are this is our first attempt to include people on the daily banter that often consumes one's life. This blog will often have a daily topic in which you the public will have the opportunity to chime in and give your respective opinions.

Donavon McNabb Returns to Philly...
Week 4 is upon us... That means Donavon McNabb is returning to Philly. How will the fans welcome Donavon back, Cheers? Boos?
They are gonna boo him. They used to boo him like he was the visiting quarterback since April of '99. Despite all that he has done. You know, making them a relevant franchise and all. Let's be honest for years he was the only reason the Eagles were a good team. They were a laughing stock prior to his era. They booed him when he played well and won. What makes people think that they will cheer him now, and he is wearing an opposing teams jersey. The Eagles organization should be booed for trading a player of his caliber who never wanted to leave.
I think Donovan will get more cheers than boo's i would hope. but you never know with the fans in Philadelphia. This man should receive a standing ovation for what he's done for that organization over the past 11 seasons. But knowing the undoubted ignorance of the Philadelphia sports fan that will boo him although his departure was none of his doing. Its not like he asked management to be traded; "I want to be an Eagle for life." I think was his quote. These are the same fans the cheered when Stephen Strasburg got hurt! Absolutely unacceptable. But I think you will hear mainly cheers; but the u ll hear the boo birds (pun intended) a little.
You would think the man that brought ur squad to 5 NFC championship and a Superbowl appearance would get some love. The man was drafted by them and played his whole career there, he didnt ask to get traded-if i remember correctly he said he wanted to retire an Eagle. but then again he got boo'd on draft day so... As we all know Lincoln Financial isnt exactly fan friendly. Especially to an in division rival such as the Redskins. Add that w/ the simple fact that Vick is shittin and the Eagles are looking good(damn that was hard to type). I believe he will get boo'd but for the simple fact of the name on his jersey not because he is Donovan McNabb...
I'm a Redskin fan personally. For 11 years this man gave all he had to this city and left it all on the field(Super Bowl). He carried this franchise to a level that it's never seen before his arrival. All he's done was win more than anybody not named Brady and Manning. With all that said the city never loved McNabb like they should have. Mike Vick has recieved more love in these past 2 weeks than Mac did in 11 years!!
I think the Philly fans will do the right thing and finally show this man the respect he deserves. I don't think he'll get a standing ovation but they'll do the right thing and cheer!!
These mutha fuckaz that call them selves pigeon fans ! 1.threw snowballs at Santa Claus 2.cheered when michael Irving layed paralysed on their field 3.booed Mc Nabb when he was drafted by them 4.had a coach who choked on a porkchop 5.MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL HAS A STATUE OF A SPORTS FIGURE WHO DOESN'T EXIST! THIS IS A CITY OF FALSE HOPE! THEREFORE WHAT DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO HAPPEN HE'S GETTING BOOED!
I believe it will be a mixed reaction but he will surely hear some boos as this is Philadelphia. They booed when he was drafted and they've been booing every chance they've got since despite all the wins he helped bring them. Well now they have a reason to root against him since he's on the other side and they're is no doubt there will be boos.
