NBA Finals Recap

What are your thoughts on the 2011 NBA Finals?

  1. I am relieved and almost happy that the Mavs are the NBA champs. Whos doesn't like seeing the good guys come out over the bad guys? I'm happy for Kidd getting a ring and impressed by how good Nowitzki is though I kinda feel its being overstated now. Its also good to see Mark Cuban win the title as he is one of the most passionate owners in sports.

On the other hand I can't deny that its good to see Lebron's "shortcut" to the title failed miserably even though I honestly don't understand how. I still feel a title or two is inevitable for these guys but all that 5, 6, 7 stuff seems farfetched.

  2. This was a great series, such a roller coaster. Coming in the majority of the fans picked Miami, Game 1 fueled the fire and after game 3 people still didn't give Dallas a chance. Once the Dirk train started to roll and Lebron started to perform his vanishing act people looked twice and said maybe Dallas has a chance. Even after the 8 point night people still thought Lebron would rebound and lead the Heat to the title...

Then Dallas slammed the door on all of those hopes. Dallas outshot them, definantly outcoached them and outclassed them on there way to the title. Dirk was the best player on the floor, Carlisle pushed all the right buttons(JJ Barea, Marion on Wade, Cardinal for Peja) and the better team won.

Where does Miami go from here?? See us on a later post....

  3. I thoroughly enjoyed these NBA finals. There were so many story lines and so many things that intrigued me. Like what was going on with the Lebron and would we get out of slump and stop running away from the ball. Would the loveable Mavericks finally get their championship.

Im happy for the Mavs, I ve been a dirk fan since 98 and im glad he finally got one, also happy for Jason Kidd and Terry along w/ Marion and Chandler. Dirk called out terry after game 3 and Terry responded big time w/ a huge game 6.

But a big congratulations goes to Mark Cuban. This guy may be one of the most hated men in sports b/c of the way he runs his team and how outspoken he is. But whats wrong with passion is my thing if you own something of course you want to see it do well. Cuban sat back this postseason didnt say much and watched his team finally get that championship.

But again the story isnt the mavs, Its the heat. What happened to lebron? and what happens with the Heat ? Stay tuned people.
