NBA Finals 2011

We've all seen the first 4 games of the series; what are your thoughts on what has transpired to this point?

  1. THE HEAT SHOULD B UP 3-1. THEY HAVE 2 STOP LETTING DALLAS BACK N THE GAME ALL THE DAMN TIME. THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE PLAYOFFS TEAMS HAVE BEEN KILLING DALLAS N THEN THEY LET THEM BACK N THE GAME. HEAT N 6....LOL.

  2. The first 4 games of this series... This is the Finals correct?? The first 4 games of the Finals look like the Finals from 2006, Dirk vs Wade. In 2006 Wade had a super sidekick and Shaq really didn't have a dominant series but did enough. Fast forward to now, Wade has a super sidekick in Lebron and he's not having a dominant series but he's doing enough to have put Wade in position to take the series.

The first 4 games of the Finals have shown that the Miami Heat are D-Wade's team!! I don't care who avg more in the reg season, in the Bulls series or whatever the case may be. The NBA Finals, D-Wade is outplaying this man by epic proportions.

Fun Fact: Lebron James career high in 8 NBA Finals games is 25 points.

Kobe Bryant in the 2010 NBA Finals Game 5 scored 23 straight Laker points...

    Just stop it!

  3. Here we go it didnt take long for this guy to rip Lebron. Larry Bird scored 8 points in finals games twice. And they were in back to back to games. I have no idea whats going on with Lebron but id expect different starting with tonight. And how the hell you going to discredit everything Lebron has done until this point. They dont get to the finals without his efforts. You have to at least the give the man some credit. To completely not acknowledge his efforts to this point is insane. Here is an interesting tidbit, when Lebron plays poorly more often than not the Heat lose. Yea Wade may be the leader but without Lebron he doesnt reach the finals. Also will if its so much Wade team why didnt he stick derrick rose in the Eastern Conference finals? Truth is w/out Lebron the Heat do not get pass Chicago b/c Rose would chew Wade's ass up! Lebron defends, distributes, rebounds and scores. He plays damn near every minute of every game. He has been on the bench for a total of 49 mins over the past 13 games. You do the math. Please stop disregarding him Will. Not fair at all.

  4. How did I disregard Lebron?? I don't care what he did in the regular season!! The Heat don't make the Finals w/o D.Wade!!! Wade was 2nd team All NBA defensive team 3 times in his career, not saying he could of did the job Lebron did on him but he's more than capable of handling D.Rose.f From I'm reading your saying D.Rose is a better player than D.Wade?? And when the hell does who's guarding the best player decide who's team it is? Scottie Pippen always guarded the best player on the Bulls, his team?

    Lebron defends, rebounds and scores?

Wade has more rebounds this series!!!!! He's avg 30 points a game to Lebron 17.

He literally had to yell at him in game 3 for playing like a ...

  5. "I don't care who avg more in the reg season, in the Bulls series or whatever the case may be." Thats what you just said regarding Lebron. To me that sounds like you are disregarding what he's done in the postseason. No im not saying wade cant handle rose (he cant, rose to fast and just an inch shorter, hed kill wade, ok maybe i am saying he cant handle him lol) but dont undervalue everything else he does for the team. No one ever disregards what pippen did for Chicago on the defensive side of the ball, well i sure is hell dont. But we ll watch tonight intently, we ll see what the King does tonight.

  6. I don't care who avg more in the reg seaon... Come on he avg 26 to Wade's 25, that's marginal.. I could understand if Lebron was avg 30 and Wade avg 17(their finals avg) then it would matter but come on. Pippen's efforts weren't disregarded but nobody would dare say Pippen was driving that car. Lebron better have this monster night for your and his sake!!

  8. This Bulls series is really being blown out of proportion, that series was never in doubt and the Bulls were nowhere close to being an elite team. They backdoored their way into the conf. finals by beating Indiana and Atlanta, yea that's a tough road. The real test was Boston, that's why they celebrated like they won the chip when they won that series and they said Boston was the main motivation of them coming together. Please stop bringing that series up like it was huge hurdle for them. The Boston series was Wade leading his team and Bron closed a game or two for him. Maybe your completly disregardin Wade's efforts in this run. Wade's #s in the wins 38, 28, 28 and 34... what is it I'm missing?

  9. My thoughts after the first four games of the Finals is that we are two wins away from the beginning of an ugly period for the NBA by which I mean players teaming up to form these "super teams" making most of the league more irrelevant but thats a discussion for another day. I feel Miami has dominated the series in the way Lebron always wanted, him riding shotgun and enjoying the sights while D-Wade drives the car. Jamil you are killing me with your undying allegence to this coward as he can do no wrong in your eyes. Hw was such a great defender coming into this series shutting down Rose and Terry but he wants no parts of Dirk (who I've gained so much appreciation for) because he will lose all of that hype. I'll be honest that I'm bias as he can't win with me because even after they win which I beleive they will I'll simply say you are suppose to with two of the the top three players on your team.

  10. @Chillz, now you giving me Wade's number but who was it that hit every big shot? Lebron. Celtics up 3 w/ 20 secs left game 4. Bron nails three pointer in the corner right in front of Boston bench. might be biggest shot of the Heat postseason if that series is 2-2 instead of 3-1 we might be looking at a different championship.

@Mark, I have become very defensive of Lebron idk why , I just have. Scoring 8 points the other night was the worst display from a great player i ve ever seen. And their is no defense for his poor play. Im rooting for the Mavs here. I dont wanna see Miami win a ring. I just think Lebron is unfairly criticized thats just basically my point. He definitely deserves criticism for his awful performances im not saying he doesnt. Lebron is the only player who has legacy scrutinized from a game to game basis and i just think thats horrible and ridiculously unfair. For all Wade did in Game 4 he did blow the FT that could have tied the game and yet no one has said shit about that. Thats the point im trying to make. Wade misses a FT and yet he gets no blame. What does Lebron's poor performance have to do with Wade gagging that FT; mind you the first one barely went in; he was tight ass shit. But nooooooo! We cant say shit about Wade right, lets all jump on Lebron. Like people compare Bron to MJ. Hey Wade; MJ , Kobe, Bird or even DIrk wouldnt have missed that FT. I hate them teaming up also but it just seems like since Lebron joined the Heat. Wade can do no wrong?

  11. After the 1st four games this series culd have easily been a sweep for Miama or 3-1 for Dallas. In game 1 Mia showed y they were the better team thru defense nd their ability 2 close n the 4th. Throught this series that have went away from wat projected them 2 to win this series. The world has awoken the King with all these remarks on how he has been playin nd he will come out 2nite with a monsterous game that will lead to a double digit victory 4 the Heat 2nite followed up by the closer in game 6 bac n Miami. The caliber of a player such as LeBron can't b held down but 4 so long and scoring aside he's actually not havin a bad series. In the close games that come down 2 the buzzer Spoelstra needs 2 run the double at Dirk nd force someone else 2 make a game winning shot! Prediction 4 2nite- the big 3 will combine for 70+ led by Lebron nd Miami will win in dominating fashion
